Petra
The rose-red Nabataean city carved into sandstone cliffs, accessed through the narrow Siq gorge. Allow a full day minimum. The Treasury at sunrise, before the crowds arrive, is one of travel's great experiences. The site opens daily at 06:00 AM — arrive at opening to experience it at its most extraordinary.
Wadi Rum
A vast protected desert valley of towering sandstone and granite mountains, red dunes, and ancient rock inscriptions. Best experienced with an overnight stay in a Bedouin camp under an extraordinary sky.
Dead Sea
At 430 metres below sea level, the lowest point on earth. The hyper-saline water makes floating effortless. The mineral-rich mud is used as a natural skin treatment — a surreal and genuinely restorative experience.
Jerash
The best-preserved Roman provincial city outside Italy. Colonnaded streets, triumphal arches, and amphitheatres that still host performances. Often overlooked in favour of Petra but equally extraordinary.
